No Show Policy
Please cancel appointments within 24 hours. We do have an option on our phone (Option 2) where patients can leave a message to cancel an appointment. If you don’t cancel your appointment, you are preventing other patients from seeing the physicians. If you do not cancel an appointment, a no-show fee will apply according to our published uninsured medical services price list. Repeated no-shows can result in discharge from the practice.
Verbal and Physical Abuse Policy
The clinic will not tolerate any kind of verbal or physical abuse towards patients, our staff, or physicians. No trespassing, unauthorised access, or fraudulent activities will be tolerated. If you show any signs of abusive or criminal behaviour you will be asked to leave the building and this will lead to denial of service. The clinic has a zero-tolerance for abuse and criminal activities and if you do not abide by the policy we may deny you service in the future and discharge you from the practice. Depending on the circumstances, criminal charges may also be laid.
Prescription Refill Policy
- Refills will not be done over the phone, fax or by email.
- If you need medication refills, please phone the clinic in advance to book an appointment with your physician. It may not be possible to get a same day appointment; therefore we ask that you please plan accordingly.
- For your own health benefit it is important to have regular follow-ups with your family physician to monitor your medication dosage, health etc.
Patient Communication via e-mail Policy
The Saskatchewan Medical Association (SMA) does not see email as a secure form of communication with regards to patient-specific information. We will therefore not communicate with any patients via email. Our email address is for business administration related issues only.
